PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The promoter of the prize draws is RaffClub Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16045870 and a registered address at 2nd Floor Maritime Place, Quayside, Chatham Maritime, Kent, England, ME4 4QZ (the "Promoter"). The prize draws are run on the Promoter's website (raffclub.com) and any related mobile application (the "Platform"). The email address for contacting the Promoter is: support@raffclub.com
Each live listing on the Platform constitutes a separate prize draw, with a unique reference number on the page for the listing (the "Draw Page"). The specific details on the Draw Page together with these terms constitute the full conditions for the prize draw.
The prize (as set out in condition 13 below and more fully described on the Draw Page) is supplied by the person listing it on the Platform (the "Host").
Eligibility
Each prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except:
- employees and/or family members of either the Promoter or the Host;
- agents of either the Promoter or the Host; or
- any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
Entry Requirements
Each prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
Multiple entries per person are permitted, but no entrant may purchase more than 15% of the paid entries available for any particular prize draw, whether acting individually or in concert together with any other entrant. All individual entries, whether by post or purchased on the Platform, have an equal chance of winning.
To enter a prize draw, you must first create an account on the Platform, upon which you will be allocated your RaffClub membership number.
How to Enter
All entries must be submitted via either:
- purchasing tickets on the Draw Page; or
- by posting a postcard or envelope, each by first class mail, setting out the details in condition 9, to:

Free Postal Entry Requirements
The details required to be set out in a free postal entry are all of the following:
- your full name;
- your RaffClub membership number;
- your home address;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- the prize draw listing reference number on the Draw Page;
- a statement confirming you meet the eligibility requirements (e.g. "I confirm I am over 18 years old and a UK resident."); and
- your clear signature, dated.
Opening and Closing Dates
The opening date for entries and closing date of each prize draw are as stated on the Draw Page. Entries received after the closing date will not be valid. No postal entries should be sent within 72 hours of the closing date.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to delayed post, postal strike, a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
Winner Selection
A winner for each prize draw (the "Winner") will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within one day of the closing date ("Draw Date").
The Prize
A Winner will receive one of the following (each being the "Prize"):
- the item/experience fully described on the Draw Page (the "Listing"); or
- a cash prize equalling 70% of ticket sales (the "Cash Prize"), the current value of which can be viewed on the Draw Page at any time.
For the Listing to be awarded, the reserve number of paid entries listed on the Draw Page must be sold by the closing date (the "Reserve"). If the Reserve is not met, or the Host is unable to supply the Listing for any reason, then the Cash Prize value at the closing date shall instead be awarded to the Winner.
If the Listing is an experience rather than an item, then the experience does not include: any method of travel, travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from stations, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner. If you have any queries about the restrictions that a Listing explains apply to an experience, then please contact the Promoter by email.
Winner Notification
A Winner will be notified in the first instance using the Platform, failing which by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) within 2 days of the Draw Date.
If a Winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the Winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
Prize Delivery
The Winner must provide all necessary information and documents ("Verification"), including proof of identity and address, required by the Promoter to comply with legal and regulatory requirements for transfer of the Prize to the Winner, within 7 days of notification of winning. Subject to the Verification being provided to the Promoter's satisfaction, the Prize will be dispatched to a Winner within 14 days of being notified of their win. If the Listing is not dispatched by a Host to a Winner within the required 14 days, then the Winner shall instead be eligible to be awarded the Cash Prize.
The Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
Winner Announcement
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails the Promoter or writes to the Promoter (enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated on the Draw Page. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please let the Promoter know. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority ("ASA") on request.
General Terms
The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Listing with an alternative cash prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Privacy
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy linked here: https://raffclub.com/privacy. See also condition 20 with regard to the announcement of winners.
You agree that if you are a Winner, the Host of that prize draw may contact you directly for the purpose of organising delivery of the Listing.
By entering a prize draw, you acknowledge that any item Listing described as 'Used' will not be brand new and so may have signs of wear, as expressly stated on the Draw Page.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION IF YOU ARE A WINNER
If you are a Winner, then in the event of any dispute between you and the Host relating to any aspect of the Listing, its delivery, quality, or fulfilment, you must notify the Promoter as soon as possible and provide all relevant information regarding the dispute.
The Promoter will act as a moderator and use reasonable endeavours to assist both parties in seeking a resolution to the dispute. However, the Promoter does not guarantee that any particular outcome will be achieved or that the dispute will be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.
You agree to cooperate fully and promptly with the Promoter during any such moderation process and to comply with any reasonable instructions from the Promoter in connection with the dispute.
PRIZE NOT RECEIVED FOLLOWING DELIVERY CONFIRMATION
Delivery of the Listing shall be deemed to occur on the date of delivery confirmation ("Delivery Confirmation") which is the earlier of:
- the date on which the Winner confirms receipt of the Listing using the Platform or by email; or
- the date on which the Host or the Promoter notifies the Winner of confirmed delivery of the Listing, supported by satisfactory documentary evidence of delivery.
If you have not received the Listing despite getting a Delivery Confirmation, you must contact the Promoter by email as soon as possible. If you do not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of receiving a Delivery Confirmation, you shall be deemed to have received and accepted the Listing.
NON-CONFORMING PRIZES
Upon receipt of the Listing, you shall have a period of 7 days from the date of Delivery Confirmation (the "Disputes Window") in which to authenticate and inspect the Listing and, if you consider the Listing not to match the Listing description, not to be authentic, or otherwise to be materially non-conforming, to raise a written dispute with the Promoter ("Dispute"). You can do this by emailing the Promoter. If an experience, should you have concerns about the authenticity of a voucher or its conformity to the description on the Listing, then please contact the Promoter by email and it will carry out reasonable verification checks with the Host.
If no Dispute is raised within the Disputes Window, then you shall be deemed to have accepted the Listing in full and final satisfaction and shall have no further entitlement to dispute its conformity (subject to condition 28m for an experience). Equally, if you formally accept the Listing on the Platform, then you confirm that you have received the Prize as advertised and you waive your right to raise a Dispute.
If a Dispute is raised, the Promoter shall investigate the claim and may request any information or evidence reasonably required from you and/or the Host. You agree to provide full co-operation with any such investigation.
If, following such investigation, the Promoter:
- determines the Dispute in favour of the Host, then the Host shall be paid for their Listing in accordance with the Host's terms with the Promoter; or
- determines the Dispute in favour of you, then you may be eligible for the Cash Prize instead of the Listing (the "Cash Prize Award").
RETURNING A PRIZE WHERE A DISPUTE IS UPHELD IN YOUR FAVOUR
To be eligible to receive the Cash Prize Award following a Dispute being upheld in your favour, you must return the Listing to the Host in accordance with the following delivery requirements, the full cost of which shall be refunded to you by the Promoter:
- using the address the Promoter provides to you;
- obtaining insurance for the full value of the Listing in case of loss, theft or damage in transit;
- using a tracked delivery service which requires signature upon delivery (if possible, it is recommend that you use a delivery service which also requires an identification check upon delivery); and
- providing the Promoter with the relevant tracking details promptly upon dispatch (and in any event within 24 hours).
You are responsible for actively monitoring the status of the return delivery of the Listing to the Host, including checking tracking updates to confirm successful delivery. Upon receiving notification that the Listing has been delivered and/or signed for at the address provided for the Host, you must promptly notify the Promoter by email and provide any supporting evidence of receipt as may be reasonably required.
Where the requirements at conditions 28(i)(2) and 28(j) above are met for the Cash Prize Award, you shall receive the Cash Prize upon the earlier of:
- the Host confirming that they have received the returned Listing; or
- where the Listing is confirmed to have been lost in transit through no fault of yours, receipt by the Promoter of satisfactory evidence that the Listing was dispatched by you using tracked recorded delivery.
CONCERNS ABOUT AN EXPERIENCE PRIZE
If you have concerns about an experience conforming to the description on the Listing during or following the experience, then please raise any concerns with the operator (on the day if possible) to give them an opportunity to resolve the matter. If you are not satisfied with the operator's response, please contact the Promoter by email within 7 days of the experience and it will investigate your claim with the operator and/or the Host.
OUTCOME OF A DISPUTE
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the Promoter's investigation, then you may refer your case to an independent alternative dispute resolution provider.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or affects any other right or remedy available to the Promoter or you under these terms or at law.
Governing Law
The Promoter will always act in line with its obligations under UK consumer law and with the requirements of the ASA and any other applicable regulators.
These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
