Since 2024, Disability Snowsport UK has raised over £16,000 through prize draw fundraising, helping us create more opportunities for disabled people to experience adaptive snowsport. In 2025 alone, we delivered more than 5,800 adaptive lessons. Behind every lesson is an opportunity: to try something new, build confidence, challenge expectations, spend time with family and friends, and discover the freedom that comes from being active on the slopes. Every £5 ticket helps make that possible. And, of course, there are some fantastic prizes to be won! Martina Diez-Routh is a London-based artist working in pastels and oils, creating expressive, highly personal pieces inspired by meaningful photographs and subjects. The prize is a bespoke commissioned artwork based on photographs supplied by the winner, with the final reference image agreed between the winner and the artist. The work will be created in either pastels or oils, as recommended by Martina to best suit the subject, with the final size agreed accordingly—approximately 30 × 40 cm up to a maximum of 50 × 70 cm.

Disability Snowsport's vision is of mountains and ski slopes free from barriers, where disabled people can learn and take part alongside friends, family and community. The skiers and snowboarders we work with range from children who need a little extra help to learn in a supportive setting, to adults who've experienced a life changing diagnosis or injury, as well as those who have life long conditions. We operate ski schools and recreational activities at various locations throughout the UK as well as delivering opportunities to ski and snowboard in a mountain environment worldwide. We are supported by a fantastic team of highly-qualified adaptive instructors as well as a brilliant network of passionate and skilled volunteers. Together, we work to ensure that everybody has the opportunity to access snowsport.
